In a statement published on 10 July 2025, Western Australian Creative Industries Minister Simone McGurk said: “It is very exciting to see another release of a locally filmed production that will take Perth and Western Australia to the world stage.”

The Travellers premiered at Event Cinemas Innaloo on Wednesday, 1 October 2025. PerthNow reported that Western Australian cast members Declan Brown, Tayla Campbell and Kate Elder attended. The premiere is a past event, not a current screening opportunity.
