At a Scottish castle, the 23 players were secretly assigned as Faithfuls or Traitors. They completed missions to build a prize pot worth up to $250,000. Faithfuls tried to identify and banish Traitors at round tables, while Traitors secretly eliminated other players. If a Traitor remained at the end, that player could take the pot. Yes. NBCUniversal announced the official trailer on December 16, 2025. It is titled “The Traitors US Season 4 | Official Trailer | Peacock Original” and is embedded in the announcement.
What is next for The Traitors?
In an announcement dated September 16, 2026, producer Banijay Entertainment said Peacock ordered three additional seasons beyond the season returning in 2027, with Alan Cumming set to return and Studio Lambert producing. Banijay also reported 8.1 billion minutes viewed for the title over December 29, 2025–September 6, 2026, attributing the figure to Peacock first-party data and Nielsen. The company said viewing was up 72% over the prior season and ranked the title second among streaming original reality series by 2026 year-to-date minutes, behind Love Island USA.
