Spoilers for Season 3, Episode 7, “Last Hurrah.” In this recap of The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 episode 7, Belly’s bachelorette weekend in Cousins turns from a night out into a beach confrontation. She privately admits to Taylor that she imagined a future with Conrad, then tells Conrad she is marrying Jeremiah. The episode ends with Belly reaching for a familiar signal—and getting no answer.
What happens in “Last Hurrah”?
Season 3, Episode 7, “Last Hurrah,” follows Belly and Jeremiah as they bring friends together in Cousins for a bachelor and bachelorette weekend. Prime Video lists the episode at 58 minutes, with a catalog date of August 19, 2025. Its official synopsis promises a last wild hurrah in which secrets emerge as the alcohol flows. The episode’s main conflict is the widening gap between Belly’s wedding plans and her unresolved feelings. Her private admission to Taylor points toward Conrad; her words to Conrad defend her decision to marry Jeremiah. Neither the party nor their beach conversation settles that contradiction.
Belly’s bachelorette weekend feels more stressful than celebratory
Belly and Jeremiah gather their friends for the weekend, but Belly appears weighed down by the wedding preparations and the party rather than swept up in the excitement. Meanwhile, Steven and Denise grow closer, with Taylor encouraging the connection.

At the bridal shower, Belly learns that Conrad—not Taylor—persuaded Laurel to attend. The news brings Conrad’s presence back into focus just as Belly is trying to move ahead with the wedding. Later, as the bachelorette night gets rowdier, Belly drinks, dances at a tiki bar, and goes to the bathroom with Taylor.
What does Belly tell Taylor?
In the bathroom, Belly admits that the wedding she is planning is not the one she once pictured. She says she never imagined the country club or elaborate flowers; she imagined Conrad. She also brings up Christmas and attributes her emotional state to being high. The exchange is a private confession to Taylor, not a decision to call off the wedding.

That distinction matters. Belly’s admission shows that her feelings about Conrad remain unresolved, but it does not erase what she later says to him—or establish what she will ultimately choose.
Why does Conrad confront Belly on the beach?
During the weekend, Jeremiah’s friends joke that he had sex with Lacie over spring break. Conrad overhears. Later, on the beach, Conrad tells Belly about Jeremiah and Lacie. Belly already knows, and she defends Jeremiah rather than treating the revelation as new evidence.

Conrad then makes his own feelings plain: he still loves Belly and asks her not to marry his brother. The confrontation puts two painful truths side by side—the past betrayal involving Jeremiah and Conrad’s present appeal—but Belly does not respond by accepting Conrad’s offer.
How does Belly answer Conrad?
Belly tells Conrad that their relationship never meant anything and says Jeremiah has treated her better. Then she leaves Conrad alone on the beach, falling to her knees in the sand. The scene’s music callbacks underline the history between them, but her spoken rejection is still a rejection in that moment.

Her words sit uneasily beside what she confessed to Taylor. The episode leaves viewers with that tension rather than declaring Belly’s private feelings—or her eventual choice—settled.

Belly sleeps in Taylor’s room and knocks on the wall, using a longstanding signal between her and Jeremiah to say they are awake. Jeremiah is asleep and does not answer. After Belly has spent the episode caught between what she feels and what she tells Conrad, the unanswered knock closes the story on distance and uncertainty.

What happens in the adult and friend storylines?
Adam arrives with Kayleigh, adding tension for Laurel and John. Taylor clashes with her mother, Lucinda, while John and Laurel share a kiss. These moments widen the weekend’s emotional fallout beyond the central triangle, but the episode’s defining turn remains Belly’s unresolved conflict with Conrad and Jeremiah.
