Spoilers for all of Cobra Kai Season 6. By the end of the Sekai Taikai, Miguel Diaz has the strongest student result: he defeats Axel Kovačević in the boys’ final. Tory Nichols beats Zara Malik in the girls’ final, while Johnny Lawrence defeats Sensei Wolf in the deciding adult bout. The show publishes no official overall power ranking, so the list below is an editorial comparison of season-ending results—not a definitive measure of who would win every possible matchup.
How this ranking works
The student fighters are ranked together, while the adult senseis appear in a separate division. Age and experience make a single mixed list misleading; Johnny’s finale win over Wolf is the clearest direct result between adult fighters, but it does not establish how every sensei compares with every student.
For students, the most useful evidence is direct tournament results and how far each fighter advances. A final victory carries more weight than an earlier selection bout, but context matters: injuries, opponents, and interruptions can affect what a result tells us. A captaincy or team selection is not itself proof of superior fighting ability.
Season 6 is the 15-episode final season, released in three parts; Netflix says all three parts are available. Its Sekai Taikai story brings Miyagi-Do up against new challenges and old enemies. Netflix’s Season 6 coverage and Sony’s official series page provide the season context. The finale event launched February 13, 2025, according to Netflix’s media center.

Strongest student fighters in Cobra Kai Season 6

Miguel Diaz
Miguel earns the top student spot by beating Axel in the boys’ final and becoming boys’ world champion. It is the clearest decisive student result of the season: he defeats the formidable opponent who had already eliminated Robby. The result establishes Miguel as the season’s strongest student by demonstrated tournament achievement, not as an automatic winner in every hypothetical matchup.

Tory Nichols
Tory wins the girls’ final against Zara, giving her the season’s most conclusive result in the girls’ division. Her victory places her among the top student fighters, though the available finale results do not directly compare her with Miguel or the boys’ finalists.

Axel Kovačević
Axel reaches the boys’ final after defeating Robby in the semifinal, then loses to Miguel. That path makes him a top-tier contender. The semifinal needs a qualification: TIME reports that Robby was injured in the bout, so Axel’s win should not be treated as an uncomplicated comparison of the two at full health.

Robby Keene
Robby is selected as a Miyagi-Do captain and reaches the boys’ semifinal before losing to Axel. His tournament run supports a high placement, but the injury context limits what the semifinal says about a fully healthy head-to-head matchup. Captain selection is also not a strength ranking: Daniel questions whether Miyagi-Do chose its strongest team.

Zara Malik
Zara reaches the girls’ final and loses to Tory. Making the final is meaningful evidence of her standing in the tournament, but the available results do not establish a reliable direct comparison between Zara and every other student contender.
Adult senseis: Johnny Lawrence and Sensei Wolf

Johnny Lawrence
Johnny wins the deciding adult bout against Sensei Wolf after the student team scores are tied. It is the strongest direct adult-versus-adult result in the finale and puts Johnny ahead of Wolf on the evidence shown.

Sensei Wolf
Wolf pushes Johnny into the deciding bout but loses it. That places him just below Johnny in this season-ending comparison; the result does not provide a firm basis for ranking him against every other adult sensei.
What the tournament results do—and do not—settle
The season’s clearest comparisons are Miguel over Axel, Tory over Zara, and Johnny over Wolf. These are tournament outcomes, not an official series-wide hierarchy. In particular, Johnny’s adult win should not be used to declare him stronger than every student without accounting for the age and experience gap or the specific bout.

Nor does Miyagi-Do’s roster reveal a settled ranking. Netflix’s finale recap records Daniel telling Johnny, “You and I both know Hawk should be going,” and asking, “Do you honestly believe we have our strongest team?” Hawk was initially left off the final six, which also included Miguel, Devon, Demetri, Samantha, and Robby; Tory later joined Kreese’s Cobra Kai. Those choices are contested within the story, and selection should be kept separate from what fighters demonstrate in the tournament. Netflix Tudum’s finale recap gives the roster context and quotes.
