Priscilla Presley
Presley returns briefly, linking the reboot to the original film in which she played Jane Spencer. ComingSoon describes her 2025 appearance as a quick reaction shot near the end. It is a small appearance rather than a substantial return to the story.

ComingSoon describes a meta gag in which Bautista temporarily takes over as Frank Drebin Jr. In an interview with CinemaBlend, Schaffer explained that the part was written around the idea of bringing in an instantly recognizable action star—and that Bautista was the only person they asked. Cody Rhodes
The cameo guide describes Rhodes as a bartender in a scene, but Paramount lists him among the film’s cast. He is therefore best described as a cast member with a scene appearance, not simply labeled an uncredited cameo.
Portraits of Leslie Nielsen, O.J. Simpson, and George Kennedy
ComingSoon reports that portraits of these original-film actors appear at the police station. They are visual callbacks, not new performances or physical cameos by the actors.

Is there an official, complete cameo list?
Not in the sources cited here. Paramount’s film page establishes the announced cast, while the scene-specific descriptions come from ComingSoon’s guide. The guide is useful for identifying reported surprises, but it should not be treated as a studio-confirmed or exhaustive list of every brief appearance or background gag.
Do you need to watch the original films first?
No. TIME says the 2025 reboot can be watched on its own, though viewers familiar with the 1988 film may recognize its callbacks and the connection created by Presley’s return. Watching the original can add context, but it is not a prerequisite for following the reboot.

Where to watch the films
Streaming availability changes by country and date. Paramount announced on September 29, 2025, that the 2025 film would arrive on Paramount+ in the United States and Canada on September 30, and said the three original films were then available on the service. The announcement said additional international Paramount+ markets would be announced later; it does not establish present availability. Paramount reported an 84% lift in viewership for the three original Naked Gun films on Paramount+ during the first month of the 2025 reboot’s theatrical window. That is the studio’s figure for those films on its service over that specific period—not a box-office result, a general measure of franchise growth, or a current streaming statistic. Paramount’s announcement provides the dated context.
