Who is on TheRichest’s eight-person list?
The list comes from TheRichest’s video, published January 13, 2022, titled “The McLaren Club: These 8 Celebrities Own The Most Expensive McLarens.” Its description names:
- Elon Musk
- Jay Leno
- David Beckham
- Beyoncé
- Kanye West
- The Weeknd
- Ralph Lauren
- Gordon Ramsay
That establishes who the video included, not that each person owned a McLaren then—or owns one now. The description’s promotional claim that the celebrities “cruise the streets of LA and the UK with the most expensive McLarens money can buy” is not a documented ownership record or a comparable valuation.

The description makes two specific vehicle claims. They should be treated as claims by TheRichest, not independently verified ownership records or sale prices.

Why “the most expensive” is not a defensible ranking here
A ranked list needs comparable figures: for example, completed sale prices for identified cars, with dates and relevant details such as variant, condition and provenance. An original purchase price, an asking price, an estimate and an auction result are different kinds of evidence. The video description does not supply a consistent set of those figures for its eight names.

Documented auction results offer context for how exceptional McLarens can sell, but they do not establish what any celebrity’s car is worth. RM Sotheby’s reported that a 1994 McLaren F1, chassis 014, sold for $25,317,500 in December 2025. The car was one of 64 road-specification F1s and had a factory-approved High-Downforce Kit conversion and documented provenance. The same source reported a 2020 McLaren Speedtail sale for $2,205,000 in August 2025. Those are individual, dated sales—not general valuations for their models or evidence about the eight people in the video.

The eight names are not a universal or independently verified roster of celebrity McLaren owners. For example, GQ India reported in June 2022 that Kartik Aaryan had a McLaren GT, Ranjit Sundaramurthy a 720S and Praveen Agarwal a 765LT. Tatler Asia has identified Cristiano Ronaldo’s McLaren Senna. These examples show that lists vary by publisher and geographic focus; they do not confirm TheRichest’s claims about its eight people.
