The ceremony, held at La Quinta Resort & Club in California, aired on ABC as The Golden Wedding. The reunion was a celebration among castmates and Bachelor Nation guests—not a gathering of every woman from the season.
Why the women reunited
The gathering was tied to Turner and Nist’s wedding. Before the event, contestant Ellen Goltzer described it as a “Palm Springs reunion to celebrate Theresa’s and Gerry’s wedding day,” as reported by Us Weekly. That description explains the reunion framing: former castmates came together for the couple’s celebration.
The first season premiered in September 2023 and featured 22 women, according to Us Weekly. Turner proposed to Nist during the season finale in November 2023. The wedding brought some of the women and other Bachelor Nation figures back together; the available coverage does not establish that all 22 contestants attended.
What happened at the Golden Wedding
Turner and Nist married on January 4, 2024, at La Quinta Resort & Club in California. ABC televised the ceremony as The Golden Wedding. Susan Noles, a former contestant, officiated. ABC News reported on the wedding, while The Knot reported that 150 guests attended.

The reunion drew excited remarks from the cast. Noles wrote, “Here we Go!! Wedding of the year baby!” Kathy Swarts called it “the wedding of the year,” adding that it was only January 2. Those were celebratory comments from participants, not an independent ranking or award.
What happened to Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist afterward
Turner and Nist announced on April 12, 2024, that they intended to dissolve their marriage, roughly three months after the wedding. The Knot covered the announcement. That later development is an important part of the story today: the Palm Springs reunion celebrated a marriage that the couple subsequently said they planned to end.
