The Corner Dairy pairs a relaxed neighbourhood-bar setting with a share-style menu that reaches beyond standard pub fare. It is at 260 Woodside Street, Doubleview, on the corner of Scarborough Beach Road; its official site describes it as a bar with a coffee window. The menu and hours can change, so check the venue’s latest information before you go.
What the Corner Dairy is like
The appeal is the contrast between the casual suburban setting and dishes such as kingfish ceviche, oysters and distinctive cheese preparations. The published sample menu is designed for sharing: diners order at the bar, and dishes arrive as they are ready. That format suits a meal built around trying several plates rather than expecting every dish to arrive together.
PerthNow reviewer Jade Jurewicz described the venue as friendly and welcoming to families, groups of friends or couples. That is her impression from a visit recounted in a review published on 2 February 2023, not a guarantee of today’s service or atmosphere. Her account praised quick, smiling service and called the heirloom tomato with sheep’s curd a highlight.
What appeared on the published sample menu
The venue’s sample menu offers a sense of its range, but it should not be treated as a live menu or a promise that every dish is available. Examples include Great Southern olives, freshly shucked Albany rock oysters, a Halls Suzette cheese plate, kingfish ceviche, a wagyu sando, and sirloin with hot chips. Check the venue’s menu for current dishes and prices, and tell staff about allergies.

Standout dishes in the 2023 review
Jurewicz reported oysters served with lemon and mignonette, and singled out the heirloom tomato and sheep’s curd. She also praised kingfish with smoked macadamia tiger’s milk, chilli and sea blight. Those descriptions belong to her review visit; they should not be read as confirmation that the same dishes remain on offer.

The food and service impressions above are explicitly tied to Jurewicz’s February 2023 visit. Gourmet Traveller’s review, published 12 September 2022, also presented the Corner Dairy as a casual neighbourhood hangout with counter ordering and a drinks list spanning beer, wine and cocktails; its dishes and staffing details are historical, not current listings. Broadsheet’s older coverage likewise gives background on the venue’s early approach, rather than a reliable guide to today’s menu.
