Batman’s anniversary Batmobile set
DC and Mattel highlighted a Hot Wheels Batmobile Collector Set containing six Batmobiles and mini-figurines, created to mark Batman’s 85th anniversary. It is an especially appealing pick for collectors who want a displayable vehicle set rather than a single character figure. DC’s announcement gives the set a clear connection to the event, but does not by itself establish that it was convention-only or identify a specific sales channel. DC’s SDCC 2024 announcement and Mattel Creations’ event page document the product.
Hasbro’s convention exclusives
Hasbro’s July 17, 2024 announcement named several releases as convention exclusives, spanning three major collector lines and a card-game collaboration.
Star Wars: Darth Maul & Sith Speeder
Star Wars: The Black Series Darth Maul & Sith Speeder paired the Sith Lord with a vehicle, making it one of the more distinctive options for Star Wars collectors who favor scene-setting displays. Hasbro identified it as a convention exclusive in its official 2024 announcement.

Transformers: Fractured Friendship 2-Pack
The Transformers Legacy United Voyager Class Fractured Friendship 2-Pack was another Hasbro-named convention exclusive. The two-pack format makes it a natural choice for collectors drawn to character pairings rather than a standalone figure.
G.I. Joe and Magic: The Gathering
Hasbro also listed G.I. Joe Classified Series #130 Cobra Commander (Once a Man) and Magic: The Gathering Secret Lair Burning Revelations among its convention exclusives. Together, the four examples show that Hasbro’s 2024 selection covered action figures and a collectible card-game release, not just toys.

DC collectibles beyond the Batmobile
DC’s broader SDCC announcement included several formats that sit alongside conventional figures and vehicles:
- Trading cards: DC vs. Vampires hybrid trading cards.
- Music and books: a Batman (1989) original motion picture score 2XLP packaged with a graphic novel box set.
- Figure: a POP! Heroes Batman/Superman Fusion collectible figure.
- Figures and statues: DC figures and poly-resin statues from McFarlane Toys.
- Prints: posters.
These examples broaden the appeal to readers collecting music, comics, art or statues rather than only action figures. DC’s announcement lists them as part of its SDCC offerings; it does not describe every item as a convention-exclusive product. Details appear in DC’s event announcement.

Exhibitor finds: plush, pins and more
Comic-Con’s exhibitor product showcase adds a wider view of the physical merchandise connected to the convention. It includes Toynk collector plush, pins, figures and trading cards, along with UCC-distributed Squishmallows and Godzilla plush, among other products. These are exhibitor items surfaced by the showcase, not necessarily SDCC-only releases. The catalog is broad and should not be treated as a complete, independently verified ledger of everything sold at the event. Browse the Comic-Con exhibitor product showcase for its listings.
How access worked in 2024
Being named an exclusive or appearing in an event lineup did not mean every attendee could buy a particular item. Mattel’s 2024 SDCC Exclusive Portal terms said badged attendees could apply for randomly assigned shopping appointments; applying did not guarantee an appointment or a specific product, and a public access period could follow appointments. Hasbro said attendees could request a booth time and that limited quantities of some items would be offered on Hasbro Pulse after the event. These describe 2024 arrangements only, not current purchasing options or proof of present stock. The historical terms are documented by Mattel’s portal terms and Hasbro’s announcement.
