Spoilers for The Challenge season 41, episode 20, “Reunion Part 1.” The reunion brought a surprise pregnancy revelation, apologies and disputed accounts of what happened between partners—and ended with C.T. Tamburello and Turbo still at odds.
Olivia Kaiser revealed she was pregnant during the final
The reunion’s most startling new information came from Olivia Kaiser: according to TV Insider’s December 10, 2025 recap, Olivia said she did not know she was seven weeks pregnant while competing in and winning the final. That is the revelation as reported at the reunion; it does not establish any further medical details.
Olivia and Theo Campbell also became the subject of jokes about their then-unborn child having crossed the final finish line before Theo had won a championship. Theo said he and Olivia were not engaged at the time, according to AOL’s December 11 recap, which identifies Entertainment Weekly as its original source.
C.T.’s wig routine supplied the comic surprise
Not every memorable moment was a confrontation. C.T. put on wigs and impersonated fellow competitors, delivering their shady remarks in character. TV Insider singled out the routine as a standout novelty: an absurd, playful bit amid a reunion otherwise focused on grievances and accountability.

Bananas defended his claim to be “The Challenge”
Johnny Bananas stood by his early-season assertion that he is The Challenge. He argued that he has to be ready to compete every season, while Leroy Garrett called him a legend. Jonna Mannion, Ashley Mitchell and Derrick Kosinski also voiced support, according to TV Insider.
The exchange was not a settled coronation. AOL reported that some castmates argued the show should belong to the group—“We are The Challenge”—rather than to Bananas alone. C.T. offered Bananas a cactus instead of flowers, turning the disagreement over legacy into a joke without erasing the divide: the cast recognized Bananas’ contribution but differed over whether one competitor can stand for the whole franchise.

Gabe apologized to Jonna, while other castmates raised concerns
Gabe Wai took responsibility for how he treated Jonna. He said frustration with his own performance had spilled over onto his partners, and said he began therapy after the show. Jonna accepted his apology while distinguishing his actions from his character. AOL reported her response: “You’re not a s— person, you just treated me like s—.”
The conversation extended beyond Jonna’s experience. Michaela Bradshaw and Leka Sodade raised concerns about how Gabe treated Black women partners, AOL reported. Those criticisms and Gabe’s explanation were part of the reunion discussion; they should not be reduced to a single, uncontested account of his motives.

Sydney and Turbo gave different accounts of their partnership
Sydney Segal said Turbo isolated her during their partnership, objecting when she spoke with Theo or made tea for Yeremi, and said he would not let her call her boyfriend. She described his expectation this way: “If you want to be my partner, I need to feel like the alpha.”
Turbo disputed parts of Sydney’s account. He framed the conflict as a misunderstanding shaped by cultural differences and argued that she could make her own decisions. Sydney acknowledged cultural nuance but said she did not regret choosing him as a partner. The reunion presented their competing accounts; it did not establish an independent finding about what happened between them.

The cast disagreed about the sequence and motives, so those arguments remained arguments rather than settled explanations.

AOL described Olivia and Michaela’s clash as the biggest fight in Part 1. Olivia accused Michaela of criticizing her in confessionals and on social media. Michaela pushed back on Olivia’s actions and objected to how Olivia was treating her in the conversation. The recap does not report a resolution, leaving the dispute open at the end of this installment.

Other cast members owned up to conflict
Cedric Hodges named Derek Chavez the “fakest” cast member, then apologized. Turbo and Derek also argued over what being fake meant. Ashley Mitchell took responsibility for her meltdowns and treatment of partners, saying she had not been prepared. These moments broadened the reunion beyond the central disputes, though none displaced the unresolved conflict between C.T. and Turbo at the close.
Turbo and C.T.’s argument was left unresolved
Turbo insulted C.T., who warned him not to disrespect him because they were no longer in the house. Part 1 ended before the confrontation was resolved. Paramount+ lists the follow-up as “Reunion Part 2”; the listing confirms the next installment’s title, not the outcome of the argument.
