Television Stats’ weekly roundup ranks shows by average daily Attention Score. East of Eden led with an average score of 130 per day, well ahead of the second-place title. An Attention Score is not a count of viewers or viewing hours.

The published entries supplied here cover the top eight of the roundup’s ten shows; positions nine and ten are not stated. The same report’s network comparison uses a different measure: combined scores for each network’s daily top ten. Netflix averaged 244 and finished first on six of seven days; Apple TV averaged 178. Hulu averaged 45.7 and ranked ninth among 12 networks. The report identifies Furious as Hulu’s top show.
What Netflix’s own chart says
Netflix’s global English TV chart for September 28–October 4 also put East of Eden at No. 1, with 6.5 million views reported by Netflix. In its October 6 article, Ashley Lee of Netflix Tudum described the series as having premiered at the top of the English TV list with that total. Netflix calls the production a seven-episode limited series starring Florence Pugh, adapted from John Steinbeck’s 1952 novel. Netflix Tudum’s weekly Top 10.

How the platforms compare in this roundup
- Netflix: Led Television Stats’ network Attention Score comparison and had the top-ranked series, East of Eden.
- Apple TV: Ranked second by the roundup’s network measure, with Ted Lasso and Slow Horses among its leading shows.
- Hulu: Ranked ninth of 12 networks in that comparison; Furious was its named top show there.
- Other services: Paramount+’s MobLand and Prime Video’s Neagley also made the listed top eight.

Why other charts can show a different winner
Rankings depend on what they measure, where they measure it, and which dates they cover. Netflix’s 6.5 million figure is Netflix-reported views for its global English TV chart during September 28–October 4. Television Stats’ numbers are Attention Scores for September 30–October 6. Nielsen’s latest available U.S. streaming table in this comparison covers the earlier week of September 14–20 and counts total minutes viewed by people aged two and older. The numbers cannot be combined into one leaderboard.
In Nielsen’s U.S. table, Neagley ranked first at 1,776 million minutes, Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story second at 1,481 million, and Reacher third at 1,420 million; Ted Lasso ranked sixth at 767 million. These are Nielsen figures for that earlier week, not current-week or global totals. Nielsen says its charts draw on Streaming Content Ratings and its National TV Panel, cover viewing through television, and include streaming viewing beyond the providers listed in its program-level reporting. Start with East of Eden: it leads the cross-platform Attention Score roundup and Netflix’s adjacent weekly English-language chart. Netflix describes it as a seven-episode limited series based on Steinbeck’s novel.
If you want an Apple TV pick
Ted Lasso ranked third in the listed cross-platform shows and rose 21% week over week by Attention Score. Slow Horses ranked fourth and was down 2.8%.

If you want Hulu’s named leader
Furious is the Hulu title identified as its top show in Television Stats’ roundup. The supplied ranking does not give its individual score or position among all shows.
Because charts and catalogs change, check the service’s current listing before choosing what to watch. For readers interested in the source material, Steinbeck’s East of Eden is an optional companion to the adaptation; the ranking itself does not depend on having read the novel.
