The list is a critic’s selection, not an official Netflix ranking or a measure of audience response. It covers 19 entries, including a joint Tom Segura–Bert Kreischer segment and Brady roasting himself.
What counts as the “best” joke?
The roast streamed live from the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California, on May 5, 2024, as part of Netflix Is a Joke Fest. Kevin Hart hosted. Netflix’s catalog lists the English-language special at 2 hours 54 minutes; Tudum rounded it to three hours. Netflix Tudum’s event page gives the format and participant context, while Netflix’s title listing provides the catalog details. Availability can vary by geography and date.

The selections below follow Nora Princiotti’s May 6, 2024, ranking for The Ringer. Its order reflects one critic’s judgment: no official scoring system or audience consensus is established. “Every person” here means each of the ranking’s 19 entries, not a definitive roster of everyone who appeared or spoke at the event. Many bits also targeted teammates, coaches, or other participants rather than Brady alone.
The Ringer’s standout joke for each of its 19 entries
-
Nikki Glaser
The top-ranked selection turns Brady’s crypto losses into a punch line about Gronkowski being the one person who could understand losing money that way. Glaser’s set also took aim at Brady’s marriage, Edelman, and Brady himself. The Ringer’s ranking names this as its standout; Good Morning America’s recap separately records Glaser’s opening joke that Brady had eight rings because Gisele had returned one.

Sam Jay
Jay used Brady’s Super Bowl ring as a setup to tease Drew Bledsoe’s career and make a joke about her own strap-on. The punch line is aimed at Bledsoe, a reminder that the roast’s targets extended beyond Brady. The Ringer highlights the bit.
-
Tom Brady
Brady’s self-roast begins with a “favorite ring” setup and turns toward Bill Belichick being caught on a doorbell camera leaving a woman’s house. The Ringer selected the gag.
-
Bill Belichick
Belichick joked that Brady and trainer Alex Guerrero were so close that it was difficult for him to butt heads with the quarterback. The wordplay turns a coaching conflict into a joke about personal closeness. The Ringer chose it as Belichick’s standout.
-
Kevin Hart
Hart framed Brady’s 8–9 season as the cost of choosing football over his wife and children when he returned from retirement in 2022. The Associated Press also reported Hart delivering the setup about that return. The Ringer selected the joke; the AP’s event report supplies the return-from-retirement context.

Julian Edelman
Edelman’s selected joke needles Brady’s face and his sense of humor. The Ringer also notes that Edelman took shots at Belichick and Brady’s appearance. The ranking identifies the face-and-humor crack as his pick.

-
Will Ferrell as Ron Burgundy
In character as Ron Burgundy, Ferrell called Brady boring and mimicked football play calls, turning the gag into a jab at Gisele for taking years to learn them. The Ringer highlights the bit.
-
Andrew Schulz
Schulz recast Brady’s achievements as a route to becoming a twice-divorced supplement salesman in Tampa. The joke compresses Brady’s football success, personal life, and TB12 business into one imagined future. The Ringer selected it.
-
Kim Kardashian
Kardashian’s chosen line referred to her family’s history of helping defend a former football player. Good Morning America also recorded her comment about relatives defending former football players. The Ringer and Good Morning America both cover the reference.

Peyton Manning
Manning compared his golf handicap with Brady’s record of losing Super Bowl leads to Eli Manning. Good Morning America also noted the Eli-related jab in its recap. The Ringer’s selection and the GMA recap describe the joke.
-
Rob Gronkowski
The Ringer’s pick is a crude one-liner aimed at Edelman. Good Morning America’s recap describes Gronkowski stumbling over the teleprompter and spiking a shot glass at the end of his set; those are separate details about the performance, not the selected punch line. The Ringer; Good Morning America.

-
Drew Bledsoe
Bledsoe used wine-and-whine wordplay to contrast his cabernet with Brady’s complaints about flags. The gag draws on the former Patriots teammates’ football history. The Ringer highlights it.
-
Jeff Ross
Ross’s selected gag uses Brady’s TB12 Method book as the setup for a sexual double entendre. This is distinct from Ross’s separate joke about Robert Kraft and a massage, which the Associated Press reported Brady objected to. The Ringer identifies the book joke; the AP report discusses the Kraft joke.

Tony Hinchcliffe
Hinchcliffe linked Brady’s fear of the Giants to Hart’s role as host. The joke relies on the Giants’ place in Brady’s Super Bowl history and Hart’s presence onstage. The Ringer selected it.
-
Randy Moss
Moss imagined how difficult it would be to tell his children that the Patriots had not trusted him enough to cheat. The joke plays on the team’s cheating controversies and Moss’s own time in New England. The Ringer features the line.
-
Tom Segura and Bert Kreischer
The duo’s joint slideshow connected Brady with historical psychopaths and serial killers. Its highlighted visual gag asked whether a photo of Brady holding a football made him look pregnant. This is one entry for two performers in The Ringer’s ranking. The Ringer describes the segment.
Rank #4
-
Robert Kraft
Kraft’s selected line joked that Brady could buy the Raiders after they had already done away with Jimmy Garoppolo. The Ringer highlights the gag.

Dana White
The Ringer says White’s one-minute set did not yield a standout joke of its own. It jokingly points instead to a line in Schulz’s set as the best one associated with White. That is The Ringer’s verdict, not a joke to attribute to White. The Ringer’s ranking.
-
Ben Affleck
Affleck’s selected line described Brady overcoming the physique of a professional bowler, including a smaller right arm, to play football. The Ringer notes that much of Affleck’s set was a Boston-fan speech rather than a sustained run of jokes. The Ringer gives both the selection and that context.
What Brady said about Deflategate
Brady also had a closing rebuttal to Deflategate, the controversy over football inflation levels. Good Morning America reported that he joked about the NFL’s $20 million investigation figure; that amount is part of the reported joke, not an independently verified measure of the investigation’s cost. The moment is separate from the Ringer-ranked selections above. Good Morning America’s May 6 recap covers the rebuttal. Brady had described the roast beforehand as familiar territory: the Associated Press quoted him saying, “This is what a locker room has been like for me for all these years. So it’s not like I’m used to people not making fun of me.” The AP also quoted Glaser calling the event “the comedians’ Super Bowl.” The Associated Press reported both comments.
