A title could enter or leave a streaming catalog within the same month. In a report published December 31, 2023, TIME’s Laura Zornosa listed School of Rock as arriving January 1, Lift as a Netflix Original arriving January 12, and Forgetting Sarah Marshall among titles leaving January 31. Those notices describe specific January 2024 changes; they do not establish availability on other services or in every country.

The A.V. Club’s recommendation list was updated January 31, 2024. Treat it as a contemporaneous editorial snapshot rather than a promise that its films remain on Netflix. A January 2024 arrival or departure also cannot answer what is streaming in October 2026.

- Check the listing in your own country; a title’s availability can differ by territory.
- Confirm the date you checked, especially if you are saving a recommendation for later.
- Read the local rating and content information if age suitability or specific themes matter.
If “Netflix and others” means services beyond Netflix, the relevant country and services need to be specified before any cross-service availability claim can be reliable. A title appearing on a recommendation list is not evidence that it is currently available on another platform.
