For a varied Fall 2024 watchlist, start with Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 3 (October 2), DAN DA DAN (October 3), Blue Lock 2nd Season (October 5) and Dragon Ball DAIMA (October 11). These are announced Crunchyroll subtitled simulcast premiere dates, not a universal calendar for every service or territory.
Four Fall 2024 anime to put on your list
This selection balances a new series with returning fantasy, sports action and a familiar franchise. It is a varied starter watchlist, not an objectively ranked list: the available schedule and lineup information establish dates and basic positioning, not comparative ratings or audience popularity.

| Anime | Announced Crunchyroll subtitle premiere | Why consider it |
|---|---|---|
| Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 3 | October 2, 2024 | A returning fantasy series; a natural choice if you are already invested in the franchise. |
| DAN DA DAN | October 3, 2024 | A new Fall entry for viewers looking to begin a fresh series. |
| Blue Lock 2nd Season | October 5, 2024 | A sports-action sequel, suited to viewers who want competition and a returning cast. |
| Dragon Ball DAIMA | October 11, 2024 | A new Dragon Ball series and a recognizable franchise return. |
The dates come from Crunchyroll’s Fall 2024 subtitled simulcast schedule and its season lineup announcement, which was updated October 2, 2024.
How to choose among the four
- Choose DAN DA DAN if you want a new Fall series rather than another season of a show you need to catch up on.
- Choose Re:ZERO or Blue Lock if you already follow the respective series and want to continue with returning characters.
- Choose Dragon Ball DAIMA if familiarity with a long-running franchise is part of the appeal.
Those are practical viewing distinctions, not claims about which show is better. The cited sources do not provide comparative reviews, ratings or audience figures that would support a definitive ranking.

Continuing series are not new Fall premieres
The schedule separately identifies several titles continuing from Summer 2024. They may still be worth watching, but they should not be confused with new Fall premieres:
- Delico’s Nursery and True Beauty
- Sengoku Youko: The Thousandfold Chaos Arc and One Piece
- Case Closed and Wonderful Precure!
- Tower of God Season 2 and FAIRY TAIL: 100 Years Quest
What these premiere dates mean
The dates above refer to new subtitled simulcast premieres on Crunchyroll as published in September 2024. They should not be treated as dates for every Japanese broadcast, dubbed release, streaming service or country: Anime Trending notes that dub launch dates would be announced later and that schedules and regional availability may vary. Crunchyroll’s lineup announcement also says schedules and dub languages are subject to change and lists regional availability for some titles, not a complete territory-by-territory picture.
Rank #3
- Elfen Lied Complete Collection [Blu-Ray]
For any show, check the relevant title page in your region for current availability and timing. The two cited schedule pages are a historical guide to announced Fall 2024 dates, not a guarantee of present-day access.
