That means the original “confirmed for 2026” framing is now out of date: Season 5 has already premiered. Disney’s season guide, dated June 25, 2026, lists the season as streaming and confirms eight episodes.
Was the cast gearing up to film?
The official renewal and release announcements do not give a Season 5 filming start date or confirm that the cast was preparing to film. The filming claim should therefore be treated as unverified, rather than as a confirmed update. The announcements establish the renewal, final-season status, release date and cast, but not a production schedule.
