Transformers One is an animated origin story about how Orion Pax and D-16—once close allies—become Optimus Prime and Megatron. The title frames this as the film’s final trailer, but Paramount’s available film pages establish the movie’s premise, cast and release context rather than the trailer’s footage or upload details.
What is Transformers One about?
Paramount describes the film as the previously untold origin of Optimus Prime and Megatron: before they became enemies, they were friends whose choices changed Cybertron’s fate. The story centers on Orion Pax and D-16, the characters who become the two iconic leaders.
That origin premise is the clearest context for the trailer’s fight-focused framing. It places conflict against the backdrop of a relationship that begins in alliance, rather than presenting the characters only as established rivals.
