In a February 2026 preview, T3 selected five new Apple TV series—not returning seasons—as its standouts for the year: Margo’s Got Money Troubles, Widow’s Bay, Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed, Cape Fear and Lucky. The dates T3 forecast for them have all passed, so this is a look back at that slate, not a current list of upcoming premieres.

How to choose what to watch first
For family, money and comedy-drama
Margo’s Got Money Troubles follows Margo, played by Elle Fanning, as she navigates a new baby and money strain. T3 describes her mother as a former Hooters waitress, played by Michelle Pfeiffer, and her father as a former professional wrestler, played by Nick Offerman. Apple’s catalog classifies the series as a 2026 US comedy-drama and lists season-one episodes.
For folklore that turns frightening
In Widow’s Bay, Mayor Tom Loftis hopes to revive a remote island town by attracting tourists, but local stories start to become real. T3 places the island 40 miles off the New England coast. That location detail and the scheduled date above come from T3’s preview; an actual premiere date and current Apple catalog status are not established here.

For a mother-led crime mystery
Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed centers on Paula, played by Tatiana Maslany, a newly divorced mother trying to rebuild family life while investigating what she believes was a crime she witnessed. T3 describes the plot as involving blackmail, murder and youth soccer. Apple categorizes the 2026 series as thriller/crime and lists Maslany, Jake Johnson and Jessy Hodges among its cast; its catalog result shows season-one episodes.
For a familiar story reworked as a series
Cape Fear adapts John D. MacDonald’s 1957 novel The Executioners. T3 identifies Javier Bardem as Max Cady and Amy Adams and Patrick Wilson as attorneys Anna and Tom Bowden. It also reports a ten-part season and Morten Tyldum as director; those details are from T3’s article rather than independently confirmed here. The novel is an optional read for anyone interested in the source material, not a prerequisite for watching.
