Daniel Bryan has the longest reported time in a single Royal Rumble match: 1:16:05 in the 50-man Greatest Royal Rumble in 2018. The list below ranks 15 match performances across men’s and women’s Rumbles, including that distinct Greatest Royal Rumble format. It counts performances, not unique wrestlers, so Liv Morgan appears twice.
The 15 longest reported Royal Rumble performances
Times are drawn from published men’s and women’s statistical compilations, rather than one consolidated official WWE all-time ranking. The table combines different years and match categories; it is not a like-for-like record table for one event series.

How to read the ranking
The top time comes from a different format
Bryan’s 1:16:05 came in the 50-man Greatest Royal Rumble in 2018, not the annual traditional 30-man men’s match. WWE’s historical account describes Bryan’s mark as surpassing Rey Mysterio’s 2006 time of one hour, two minutes and 12 seconds. Gunther’s 1:11:40 in 2023 is the longest listed performance in the traditional men’s match compilation.
The women’s entries lead the combined list after Gunther
Roxanne Perez’s 1:07:47 in 2025 is the leading women’s time in the compilation used here. Liv Morgan and Iyo Sky also exceeded an hour in that match. The 2024 entries for Bayley and Naomi, and the 2023 entries for Rhea Ripley and Morgan, likewise place among the 15 longest listed performances.

Some historical seconds are disputed
Rey Mysterio’s 2006 time is listed here as 1:02:12, consistent with WWE’s historical account and one men’s compilation. Another historical compilation reports 1:02:15, so the exact seconds are not uncontested across published sources.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What is and is not an official all-time record
WWE publishes participant statistics for recent matches; its 2025 match statistics include the prompt “Who survived the longest?” But the available official material does not provide one historic combined top-15 table covering men’s matches, women’s matches, and the Greatest Royal Rumble. The ranking above should therefore be understood as a compilation of published lists, not a single WWE-issued all-time leaderboard.
