En una nota publicada el 16 de febrero de 2024, People en Español informó que García retomó su cuenta tras pasar tres semanas aislada del mundo exterior durante su participación en el reality. La publicación le atribuyó el mensaje “Estoy de vuelta” y su agradecimiento: “Gracias por tanto amor”.
La actriz también expresó sorpresa por la respuesta que recibió: “Increíble todo el apoyo, estoy llorando de tanto amor. Gracias, gracias”.
Por qué explicó que salió del reality
García dijo que sintió la necesidad de evitar que la situación se tergiversara y de proteger a su familia. Según la cita reproducida por People en Español, explicó: “Creo que tuve un instinto muy fuerte y una necesidad de no dejar que nada se desvirtuara, se tergiversara. Como saben, tengo una familia aquí afuera que tengo que proteger y sentí que en algún momento se estaba saliendo todo de contexto, de control y, ni modo, pues a veces en la vida hay que tomar decisiones”.

La defensa de su esposo
La nota identificó a Felipe Aguilar, esposo de García, como director de cine y televisión, y contó que la defendió durante una gala del programa. Aguilar dijo que quienes seguían el día a día del reality podían ver cómo habían ocurrido las cosas y sostuvo que los ataques podían llevarla a explotar. García reaccionó al video de su defensa con las palabras: “Amo esto”.
