Rotten Tomatoes displayed a 78% Tomatometer from 130 reviews and an 85% Popcornmeter from more than 2,500 verified ratings when accessed in 2026. These are time-sensitive snapshots, not fixed scores. The mixed review excerpts help explain why the aggregates do not settle the question of whether the film’s excess is exhilarating or exhausting.
In a separate, dated commercial report, distributor Cineverse said on October 15, 2024 that Terrifier 3 earned $21.4 million over its four-day North American opening weekend and received a B CinemaScore. Those figures describe the opening weekend and audience grade as reported then, not the film’s current lifetime total. Cineverse also reported an 89% Popcornmeter in that announcement; that was its October 2024 figure, distinct from Rotten Tomatoes’ later displayed snapshot.
