How to interpret the numbers
Celebrity net-worth figures are estimates, and the available sources do not establish a common methodology or consistent primary financial disclosures for all six people. TheStreet explicitly attributes only Kelce’s figure to Forbes in the ranking discussion. The table therefore shows how TheStreet ordered its estimates in 2025; it does not prove that one person is definitively wealthier than another.

It would be misleading to update only selected entries using newer figures from other publications while leaving the remaining amounts at their 2025 values. No consistent later ranking for all six is established here.
Who is included—and what “boyfriend” means
TheStreet’s six names are the people it ranked, not an exhaustive or definitive list of everyone Taylor Swift has dated. Dating-history timelines include different kinds of accounts: established relationships, reported brief connections and rumors. Those labels are not interchangeable, and a name appearing in a timeline does not by itself establish the same level of certainty as another.

The Sporting News timeline, for example, covers Joe Jonas, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Conor Kennedy, Harry Styles, Calvin Harris, Tom Hiddleston, Joe Alwyn, Matty Healy and Travis Kelce. Its account also notes that only some songs are inspired by former partners and describes public criticism Swift has faced over writing about relationships. Us Weekly’s July 2026 update includes additional rumored or brief links, including Adam Young and Chord Overstreet, while signaling uncertainty in parts of its account. That timeline is another reason to distinguish reports from confirmed relationships.
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship status
Swift and Kelce announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post in August 2025. The Associated Press reported Swift’s caption: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.” The AP’s report also recounts Swift calling Kelce “my boyfriend Travis” at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards and Kelce describing Swift as his girlfriend on his podcast in July 2024.

Why Swift’s own net worth does not validate the ranking
Forbes estimates of Swift’s wealth have changed over time: Time reported on October 6, 2024, that Forbes had updated its estimate to $1.6 billion on October 5, 2024. Time’s report described her as the first musician to become a billionaire primarily through songs and performances. Forbes published a later $2 billion estimate for Swift on May 30, 2026. That later estimate concerns Swift herself; it neither confirms nor updates the 2025 figures for the six people in TheStreet’s list.

In a 2014 comment about criticism of relationship-inspired songwriting, Swift said, “No one says that about Ed Sheeran. No one says that about Bruno Mars.” Sporting News reproduces the remark in its dating-history coverage. The comment reflects her response to a criticism of her songwriting; it does not establish private relationship details or anyone’s net worth.
