What was special about the final surprise-song set?
| Instrument | Mashup performed | Finale detail |
|---|---|---|
| Guitar | “A Place in This World” / “New Romantics” | The final guitar surprise-song combination of the tour. |
| Piano | “Long Live” / “New Year’s Day” / “The Manuscript” | The closing acoustic medley of the Vancouver concert. |
During “Long Live,” Swift changed the lyric to “It was the end of an era, but the start of an age.” Billboard Canada reported the wording, while The Washington Post reported that she continued into “New Year’s Day” and finished with “The Manuscript.”

How the Vancouver show differed from earlier Eras Tour versions
The concert used the post-May 2024 arrangement, which gave The Tortured Poets Department its own section. Six performances appear in that segment, with “But Daddy I Love Him” and “So High School” combined into one entry. This section came before the acoustic songs and the closing Midnights block.
Setlist.fm also marks several arrangements as shortened or extended. The database records tape-played intros for the opening, Red, Speak Now and The Tortured Poets Department; those recorded introductions are not additional live songs. It also notes an extended “Karma” outro containing the “guy on the Chiefs” lyric.
What Swift said at the last show
Billboard Canada reported Swift telling the Vancouver audience, “The lasting legacy of this tour is that you’ve created such a space of joy and togetherness and love.” The Washington Post reported her final-show thanks shortly before the last bow: “I want to thank every single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date,” followed by “My beloved Eras Tour.” These are reported concert remarks, not a published official transcript.
How large was the Eras Tour?
The Associated Press reported Pollstar estimates of 149 shows and approximately $2.2 billion in worldwide gross. Pollstar’s estimate used box-office reports, venue-capacity estimates, historical Pollstar ticket-sale data and other information collected from November 2022 through December 2024; it was not an audited figure issued by Swift’s team.
Rank #3
Separately, setlist.fm’s 2024 tour retrospective identified 37 songs performed at all 149 shows. That statistic describes the entire tour and is not the number of songs in the Vancouver finale.

setlist.fm is a community-edited database, so it is best treated as a detailed performance record rather than an official archive. Its Vancouver entry is corroborated for the distinctive acoustic combinations and lyric change by Billboard Canada and The Washington Post. Tape cues, shortened arrangements and the extended outro are useful performance notes, but they should not be counted as separate songs.
