The Taylor Sheridan-associated series behind Prime Video’s “Spent 9 weeks in Top 10” label is Dutton Ranch, a drama about Beth and Rip Dutton starting over in Texas. Prime Video credits Sheridan as a producer and lists a nine-episode first season; its popularity claim is the platform’s own, not a published audience count or independently explained ranking.
What is Taylor Sheridan’s new show on Prime Video?
Dutton Ranch follows Rip and Beth Dutton as they gamble everything on building a new life in Texas, according to the series description on Prime Video’s listing. The listing credits Taylor Sheridan as a producer; it does not establish him as the show’s creator or writer.
Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser are listed in the cast, alongside Ed Harris, Annette Bening, Jai Courtney, J.R. Villarreal, Natalie Alyn Lind, Finn Little, Marc Menchaca and Juan Pablo Raba. Paramount is named as the studio.
Why is Dutton Ranch being called a hit?
Prime Video’s listing says the series “Spent 9 weeks in Top 10.” That is the specific popularity information the platform provides there. The page does not give a viewership total, explain which Top 10 list it means or describe its ranking method. So the claim supports saying the show spent nine weeks in a Prime Video Top 10, but not that it was number one, the most-watched show, or watched by a particular number of people.
