The earlier reports that Tammy Hembrow and Matt Zukowski had brushed off split rumours did not reflect their eventual relationship status. The couple announced their separation in June 2025, about seven months after marrying. Later reports described further changes in Hembrow’s relationship status, so the rumour-era story should be understood as a snapshot, not a current update.
Why split rumours started
Nine reported that speculation began after Zukowski was absent from photos from Hembrow’s 31st birthday celebrations. Zukowski said he had stepped back from social media because negative comments were affecting him. Nine quoted him saying, “OK guys, I took a little pause or break or whatever you want to call it from social media.” Nine’s report described a later post featuring Hembrow as putting the rumours to rest at that point. That was an interpretation of social-media posts, not confirmation of what would happen to the relationship later.
From public relationship to separation
Nine’s relationship timeline places the couple’s public launch on Instagram in October 2023 and their engagement in December 2023. They married in Byron Bay in November 2024. In June 2025, they announced that they had separated.
- Hembrow said, “I wanted finally tell you guys that I am going to be getting a divorce,” as quoted by Nine.
- Zukowski said, “It is with a heavy heart I share that Tammy and I have decided to separate,” also as quoted by Nine.
Nine’s June 2025 report covered the announcements. 7NEWS reported on 23 June 2025 that Hembrow had confirmed filing for divorce. These reports establish the couple’s public announcements and a reported filing; they do not establish that a divorce decree was finalized.

What later reports said about Hembrow’s status
In October 2025, 7NEWS reported Hembrow saying she was single and looking for her next crush. A later Nine report says she confirmed she had a boyfriend on the White Fox After Hours podcast. The outlet’s page should be consulted for its precise publication date before attaching a date to that update. These are dated reports, not a timeless description of her relationship status.
