She also wrote, “I fractured my nose, lost some teeth and mobility,” and, “I don’t even know what happened to me.” These are Braxton’s reported statements; the coverage does not include medical records or independent confirmation of the injuries.
What is known—and what remains unclear
Braxton did not say what caused the incident. The cited reports do not establish where it happened, and they do not provide a diagnosis beyond the injuries she described. WSB-TV noted that she had not said where the incident occurred (WSB-TV). The Associated Press reported that an email seeking more information from her manager had not received an immediate response (Associated Press).

The reports do not support speculation about whether she fell, was attacked, or experienced another cause. They also do not establish what happened after the disclosure or confirm her health status today.
What she said about recovery
In the same post, Braxton said she was too weak to talk much and that her health was “on the mend,” while indicating that mental recovery lay ahead. Those remarks describe how she characterized her condition in August 2025; they are not a verified update on her current health. Why the headline said “2 Days Ago”
The phrase referred to the interval between the Sunday, August 17 incident Braxton described and her Tuesday, August 19 disclosure. It was accurate to the original 2025 report, not a reference to the present. People’s article, syndicated through Yahoo, reported that timeline (Yahoo, syndicating People).
