Samsung’s S95F won both Best TV and Best Gaming TV in T3’s 2025 awards. LG’s OLED G5 took Best OLED TV, Amazon’s Fire TV Omni Mini-LED 4K TV won Best Mid-Range TV, and Apple TV+ was named Best Streaming Service. The adjacent Best soundbar award went to Sonos Arc Ultra. T3 published the results on 2 July 2025; they are the 2025 winners, not a 2026 list.

The awards and the judges’ reasons below reflect T3’s article by Tech Editor Mike Lowe, published 2 July 2025. The assessments are T3’s editorial choices, not an independent lab comparison. Its article also discloses that purchases through its links may earn it an affiliate commission.
Which TV won Best Gaming TV?
The Samsung S95F won. T3’s rationale focused on the mix of bright HDR, 4K at a fast refresh rate, and HDMI 2.1 support for 4K/120Hz gaming. T3 also highlighted four HDMI 2.1 ports on the set’s separate One Connect box, a bright second-generation QD-OLED panel, and gaming features in Game Mode. The LG OLED G5 was highly commended.
Which TV won Best OLED TV?
The LG OLED G5 won Best OLED TV. T3 pointed to its new multi-layer OLED technology, which it described as brighter than earlier classic WOLED panels while retaining picture clarity and precision. It also cited black levels, four HDMI 2.1 ports, and a 165Hz capability. Panasonic Z95A was highly commended.

Which TV won overall?
The Samsung S95F won T3’s Best TV award, in a close contest with the LG OLED G5 and Panasonic Z95A. T3 praised its brightness, nuanced black levels, gaming and home-cinema performance, slim wall-mount-friendly design, and built-in sound that it considered stronger than the LG’s. The LG OLED G5 was highly commended.
What was T3’s Best Mid-Range TV in 2025?
The Amazon Fire TV Omni Mini-LED 4K TV won. T3 praised its dynamic picture, color, and Amazon smart-TV operating system, saying it offered features beyond similarly priced competitors. It also noted the trade-offs: the picture does not match OLED for precision, and the sound is routine. Sky Glass 2 was highly commended.

What won Best Streaming Service?
Apple TV+ won the Best Streaming Service category. T3 singled out its original catalogue, including Severance, Silo, Murderbot, and Slow Horses, and characterized its programming as consistent. T3’s 2025 article also compared its price favorably with many competitors, but that is not a current price comparison; subscription prices and availability can change. Disney+ was highly commended. This is a streaming-service award, not a TV hardware award.
Which soundbar won?
Sonos Arc Ultra took Best soundbar. T3 valued its single-bar setup, sound quality, and Dolby Atmos immersion created through virtual surround processing. The trade-off it identified was that the bar lacks HDMI passthrough and additional speakers for true surround. LG S95TR was highly commended.

What the awards say—and what they do not
The results give a quick view of T3’s 2025 picks across different uses: the S95F for gaming and as its overall TV choice, the G5 for OLED, and the Amazon set for the mid-range category. They are category awards rather than a single ranking of every television or service on the market.
