Sydney Sweeney marked her 28th birthday with a space-themed party, according to a 30 September 2025 report by PerthNow. The outlet said the celebration took place over the preceding weekend, after her birthday on 12 September.
A space-themed birthday celebration
PerthNow’s Tegwen Bescoby described the party as an out-of-this-world gathering, with guests in astronaut suits, metallic outfits, alien-like green makeup and Star Wars costumes. One guest wore a Chewbacca outfit, while Scooter Braun was reported to have dressed as Obi-Wan Kenobi.
The outlet’s account, based in part on social-media images supplied to it, also described colorful lighting and a NASA rocket-ship prop. Sweeney shared a carousel of party photographs with the caption “Welcome to planet syd,” PerthNow reported.
Who PerthNow said attended
The report named former Anyone But You co-star Glen Powell, rapper Wiz Khalifa and Lauren Sanchez-Bezos among the attendees. It also identified Sweeney’s friends Amelie Tremblay and Kelley McCartney as helping her blow out the candles on a two-tier cake styled like a starry night sky and topped with planet-like shapes.
