#1 Best Overall
This keeps the focus on the show’s familiar mix of friendship and personal choices while taking the characters outside their hometown. The season follows the leads as they balance careers and family life alongside their relationships.
Will there be a Sweet Magnolias Season 6?
No Season 6 is planned in the available reporting. On September 18, 2026, TheWrap reported that the official Sweet Magnolias Instagram account had announced the series was “now complete with five seasons streaming on Netflix.” That confirms the end of the series’ run; it does not by itself establish that every plot thread is resolved. Netflix’s Season 5 finale explainer discusses the ending and contains spoilers.
