In a TVLine exit interview published November 21, 2024, Gabe said the line was not directed toward a possible Season 50 appearance. “So that wasn’t directed towards Season 50, that was just in general. I’ll be back. You’re gonna see me again,” he told TVLine. Read in context, it was a broad promise to return to viewers’ screens, not a confirmed casting announcement or a claim that he would compete again.
Who was the “snake” remark about?
Yahoo’s November 21, 2024 report said Gabe clarified that the apparent “snake” remark was aimed at Teeny Chirichillo, not Caroline Vidmar. The report’s search-result excerpt quotes him saying, “That was the one vote that surprised me. That Teeny actually flipped.” The Yahoo page itself was not accessible, so this identification should be understood as Yahoo’s reported clarification, not as a conclusion independently verified against a complete video or transcript.
What happened in Gabe’s elimination?
TVLine reported that Gabe was voted out of Episode 10 by a 7–2 vote. The interview framed the decision as an effort to reduce Tuku’s numbers and remove a player seen as a center of power.

Why Gabe thought he was targeted
Gabe said he believed his threat level had become too high. He also reflected that his detailed answers at Tribal Council may have made him seem more strategic and harder to face than the jokey person others knew around camp. That is Gabe’s retrospective explanation of how he may have been perceived, rather than an independently established account of every voter’s reasoning.
What he thought might happen next
In a separate post-elimination interview with Parade, Gabe recalled thinking the risk was between him and Genevieve. He had expected Round 9 to become a bottleneck and, if he survived, had considered either staying with the Tukus or flipping across tribal lines. Those were the possibilities he said he had imagined, not outcomes he could confirm after being voted out.

What did Gabe mean when he said “come on”?
Parade asked whether Gabe’s “come on” while the votes were read was aimed at someone in particular. He said it expressed exasperation in the moment and “wasn’t directed at anybody specifically.”
