When did Superman & Lois season 4 premiere?
The CW’s August 29, 2024 schedule revision set the fourth and final season’s two-hour premiere for Monday, October 7, from 8 to 10 p.m. ET/PT. The network also listed a new episode for Monday, October 14, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The premiere aired on the announced date.
The CW’s revised fall premiere announcement described the launch as a “special two-hour premiere event.”
What changed in the schedule?
The CW’s May 16, 2024 primetime schedule had placed season four on Thursday nights. The later announcement moved the premiere to Monday, October 7, and the next listed original episode to Monday, October 14.

The original Thursday placement appears in The CW and Nexstar’s 2024–2025 primetime schedule. The August revision confirms the Monday dates, but does not state why the network changed the night.
Why did Superman & Lois change nights?
The cited CW schedule announcement does not give a reason. It confirms the revised Monday schedule, but does not attribute the change to ratings, competition, production, or another cause.

How many episodes were in the final season?
The CW announced season four as the show’s final season and described it as a 10-episode run in its November 2023 series-ending announcement.
