That is a directional price comparison, not a like-for-like feature match: Core lists 1080p, while Basic lists 720p. The reviewed public pages do not establish either service’s final INR checkout total, so check the amount shown at checkout before paying.
Published prices: OneStream Live’s entry tier is lower
OneStream Live’s comparison article, published by the vendor, lists Basic at $15/month and its mid-tier at $39/month. StreamYard’s public pricing page lists Core at $44.99/month with monthly billing, or $35.99/month when billed yearly; Advanced is $88.99/month monthly or $68.99/month yearly. These figures use different plan bundles, and StreamYard’s yearly prices should not be compared with a monthly price as though the billing terms were the same.
| Plan level | StreamYard | OneStream Live | Important qualification |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | Free plan; the pricing page lists two hours per month of local recording and six on-screen participants. Streaming limits, limited storage and StreamYard branding also apply. | Free plan lists 720p, two destinations, one seat, 1 GB storage and three scheduled events. | Both offer a free option. Check the current plan details against your needs before subscribing. |
| Entry paid | Core: $44.99/month monthly, or $35.99/month billed yearly. Lists 1080p, three destinations, unlimited streaming and recording, unlimited local recordings, custom RTMP destinations and 50 hours permanent storage. | Basic: $15/month in OneStream Live’s comparison article. Lists 720p, five destinations, one team seat, 5 GB storage, 0.5 TB monthly bandwidth and 24-hour streams. | The prices are vendor-published; the entry plans are not feature-equivalent. |
| Mid tier | Advanced: $88.99/month monthly, or $68.99/month billed yearly. Eight destinations; 4K local recordings are among its listed features. | Standard: $39/month in OneStream Live’s comparison article. Lists 1080p, 10 destinations, four team seats, 20 GB storage, 1.5 TB monthly bandwidth and 24-hour streams. | Compare specific limits and workflow rather than assuming the tiers match. |

Which plan is a better fit for your YouTube channel?
Choose on the actual features you need
- For a basic YouTube-only workflow, first compare the free plans’ limits. A paid subscription may not be necessary if the free features meet your needs.
- If output resolution matters, the published entry plans differ: StreamYard Core lists 1080p and OneStream Basic lists 720p.
- If you need to reach several platforms at once, compare destination caps. Core lists three and Advanced eight; OneStream lists five on Basic, 10 on Standard, 30 on Professional and 50 on Enterprise. OneStream’s product page advertises 45+ social and web destinations.
- If recording and storage matter, compare the exact allowance and type: StreamYard lists unlimited local recordings on Core and 50 hours of permanent storage; OneStream Basic lists 5 GB of storage. These are different measures, not interchangeable storage claims.
- If you work with a team, note the listed seat counts: OneStream Basic has one team seat and Standard has four. The reviewed StreamYard details here do not establish comparable seat limits.

What Indian creators should check at checkout
Neither reviewed public pricing source establishes the final INR checkout total for comparable subscriptions. The published figures above therefore do not prove which service will cost less in rupees after any conversion or applicable tax. Compare the same billing interval in your account checkout and use the total shown before paying.
- StreamYard’s pricing FAQ says: “What currency can I pay with? USD or Indian Rupees only”. The public page text reviewed does not show an INR amount for each plan.
- OneStream Live’s India purchase instructions say to select UPI as the payment method. The instructions do not state the final rupee amount.

A cloud option for pre-recorded, always-on YouTube streams
StreamYard and OneStream Live are creator streaming platforms; a separate workflow may suit a channel that wants uploaded videos to loop continuously rather than a person broadcasting live. StreamNeo keeps a YouTube channel live 24/7 from uploaded videos: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once and go live. It runs in the cloud, so your computer and home connection do not need to stay on. It is YouTube-only and plays uploaded videos; it does not broadcast from a camera.
StreamNeo offers one flat price per slot for any quality up to 4K 60fps as uploaded, with no re-encoding or quality tiers. It includes automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card, one free day per account. Monthly pricing is $9.99 per month. For a continuous pre-recorded stream, upload your video, add the stream key and go live; nothing has to stay on at home. See the upload-time calculator or the cloud vs PC cost calculator to assess your setup. Start the free first day on StreamNeo.
