What you need before going live from a phone
YouTube sets eligibility conditions for mobile live streaming, regardless of whether you use Streamlabs or PRISM. Google/YouTube Help lists these requirements:
- At least 50 subscribers.
- A verified channel.
- No live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days.
- Live streaming enabled; first-time activation can take up to 24 hours.
YouTube may limit the mobile live audience for channels with fewer than 1,000 subscribers. These are YouTube conditions, not requirements imposed by either app. Check the current YouTube mobile live-streaming requirements before scheduling a broadcast.

How to choose for your actual broadcast
- For an attended mobile broadcast with scenes and alerts: Streamlabs has those features documented, and its multistreaming option is tied to Ultra.
- For mobile overlays, effects, or the listed protocol options: PRISM documents those capabilities and YouTube support.
- For a continuous 24/7 channel: Neither app’s cited documentation establishes unattended 24-hour operation. Do not treat a feature list as an uptime guarantee.
- For a complete replay: account for YouTube’s warning that a stream exceeding 12 hours may not be captured, whatever the streaming method.
