Sting 3.0 is not a Police reunion. It is Sting’s three-piece live format with Dominic Miller on guitar and Chris Maas on drums. The trio will perform songs from Sting’s solo catalog and The Police during an announced North American run from October 5 through November 24, 2026.
Sting 3.0 is not a Police reunion. It is Sting’s current live format with three musicians: Sting on vocals and bass, longtime collaborator Dominic Miller on guitar, and Chris Maas on drums. The compact lineup is returning to North America in fall 2026 for a run of concerts that reshapes songs from both Sting’s solo catalog and The Police into a leaner, more intimate trio sound.
As of August 12, 2026, the announced North American itinerary runs from October 5 through November 24. The schedule includes multiple-night engagements in Vancouver, Seattle, Minneapolis, Nashville, Indianapolis, Montreal, Akron, and Brooklyn. Dates and ticket status can change, so check Sting’s official tour page or the relevant venue before making travel plans.
What Sting 3.0 means
The “3.0” name refers to the three people on stage: Sting, Miller, and Maas. Rather than using the larger ensembles associated with some previous Sting tours, this configuration makes the rhythm section, bass, guitar, and lead vocal the center of the performance.

- 1. Double-sided display: This ticket stub holder is made of transparent acrylic material and has a size of 4x9 inches. The larger size can accommodate more types of tickets and clearly display the tickets inside. Whether it is a play ticket, a concert ticket or a ball game ticket, the details of the ticket can be seen at a glance. The transparent design is not only beautiful and generous, but also adds a unique sense of art, making your precious ticket a beautiful landscape in your home or office space.
- 2. Stable base: The ticket stub display has a 4.5×2×0.5-inch transparent acrylic base with two card slots for straight and oblique insertion. The base design is stable to ensure that the ticket holder will not easily tip over during the display process. Whether it is placed on a desktop, windowsill or display stand, it can steadily carry the ticket stubs, allowing the ticket stubs to be displayed steadily in the position you want, avoiding damage to the ticket stubs due to accidental collisions.
- 3. Protect the ticket stubs: The four corners of the ticket stub frame are magnetically attached. When using it, there is no need to borrow external tools. The ticket stubs can be directly inserted and opened and closed by magnetic attraction. This design is not only easy to operate, but also ensures that the ticket holder fits tightly when closed and will not be accidentally opened due to external force. At the same time, the strong magnetic attraction will not cause any damage to the ticket stubs, and can effectively protect the integrity of the ticket stubs, so that your precious ticket stubs are always in good preservation.
- 4. Smooth edges: The ticket stub organizer adopts a rounded edge design with smooth edges, Not easy to deform and break, which avoids the possible damage to the hands caused by sharp corners when using or touching the ticket stub holder display stand. The rounded corner design improves the comfort during use, allowing you to easily and efficiently protect and organize your ticket collection.
That distinction matters because Sting 3.0 is sometimes mistaken for a return of The Police. The classic Police lineup included Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland. Sting 3.0 features neither musician. Instead, Sting is joined by Miller, his longtime guitar collaborator, and Maas, a drummer whose work has included connections with Mumford & Sons and Maggie Rogers.
Official descriptions present the show as both powerful and intimate. The smaller lineup leaves more space for reworked arrangements, interplay between bass and guitar, and a direct connection between the performers and the audience. It is better understood as a deliberate live reconfiguration of Sting’s catalog than as a nostalgia-driven reunion.
Which songs are part of the Sting 3.0 repertoire?
The set draws from Sting’s five-decade career, including his solo work and songs originally recorded with The Police. Representative performances and official live-release material include:
- “Message in a Bottle”
- “Englishman in New York”
- “Fields of Gold”
- “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic”
- “Roxanne”
- “Fragile”
- “Every Breath You Take”
The precise set can vary by performance. A 2026 show report described a 21-song concert spanning Sting’s career, while the official live-album track list records the trio’s arrangement of a core selection. Fans should therefore treat the songs above as representative rather than a guaranteed running order for every date.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Why the trio format changes the songs
Sting’s catalog is broad enough to support several kinds of live show, from polished pop production to orchestral or jazz-influenced arrangements. Sting 3.0 takes a more economical route. Sting’s bass supplies much of the harmonic and rhythmic foundation, Miller’s guitar can occupy both atmospheric and percussive roles, and Maas provides the flexibility needed to move between reggae-inflected Police material, rock songs, and quieter solo compositions.
That setup also changes the balance between familiar hits and deeper cuts. A large backing band can reproduce layers from studio recordings; a trio has to suggest those layers through timing, tone, and arrangement. The result is not a promise that every song will sound stripped down. It is a format built around making three performers carry the musical architecture themselves.
