Still Woozy’s 4 February 2025 show at Perth’s Astor Theatre was energetic and brief, according to PerthNow critic Kellie Balaam, who rated it 2.5 out of 5 stars. Her account captures an early rush of dancing, a handful of familiar songs and a thoughtful moment with overheated fans, alongside a set that lasted about 70 minutes.
What happened at the Astor Theatre
The performance was the Perth stop on Still Woozy’s Australia and New Zealand Loveseat tour. PerthNow published Balaam’s review on 7 February 2025; the Astor Theatre’s event listing identifies the booking as the Loveseat Tour. The show took place on 4 February.
Balaam describes Sven Gamsky, the Portland-based artist who performs as Still Woozy, as working in dreamy psychedelic alternative pop. The venue characterizes his music as a homespun blend of acoustic and electronic instruments. These descriptions give context to the show rather than defining an objective genre category. For background on the tour and artist, see the Astor Theatre event listing.
What songs did Still Woozy play?
Balaam reports that Gamsky came on at about 8:30 p.m. and opened with “Again,” a track from Loveseat, followed by “Window,” from 2021. She also names “Rocky,” “Lemon,” “That’s Life” and “Kenny” as fan favourites heard that night.
