How the puzzle grid works
Strands uses a six-by-eight letter grid. You connect letters vertically, horizontally, or diagonally, and a word’s path can change direction. Each letter is used once across the theme words and spangram. The spangram names the theme and links at least two sides of the board, but it does not have to start or end at the edge.
