Then he and partner Rylee Arnold danced to The White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army” and earned 33 points—their highest total of season 33 up to that episode.
A pommel-horse opening, then an Argentine tango
Nedoroscik’s return to the apparatus was a short opening segment, not the dance itself: the couple’s performance was an Argentine tango. The visual callback brought his signature gymnastics event into the routine before he and Arnold moved into the dance, set to “Seven Nation Army.” Entertainment Weekly’s October 15, 2024, episode report described the moment as “Pommel horse guy is back!”
What the 33-point score means
The couple received 33 points, one more than the 32 reported for the previous week. Entertainment Weekly described it as their highest score yet at that point in the season. Derek Hough gave them their first nine of the season.
That total should not be confused with Gene Simmons’ 8/10 for the pair on the earlier Hair Metal episode. Simmons was a guest judge that night; his mark was an individual score from a different performance, not part of the Argentine tango’s 33-point total. Sporting News’ October 9 recap lists Nedoroscik and Arnold’s totals in their first three episodes as 21, 22 and 30. The available account of the October 15 routine reports the final total, but not every judge’s individual mark.

Why Nedoroscik dedicated the routine to men’s gymnastics
The performance honored men’s gymnastics and the Olympic team. In the rehearsal video package, Nedoroscik connected the sport to both his college years and his path to the Olympics: “Men’s gymnastics gave me a family at Penn State and funneled me into the Olympics.” He also said, “Men’s gymnastics made me the man I am today. I want to be able to pour my heart out in this performance for my sport.”
The dedication came with an accomplished athletic background. ABC’s official biography records Nedoroscik’s two bronze medals at the Paris 2024 Olympics: one with the U.S. men’s team and one on pommel horse. Those Olympic results are context for the tribute; the DWTS routine was a television dance performance.

ABC’s official show page identifies Disney+ as a streaming destination for the series. That listing does not confirm that this particular season 33 episode is currently available, so check the service’s catalog in your region before expecting to watch it.
