Netflix announced a Watch Along feature that let Netflix members earn in-game rewards in Squid Game: Unleashed by completing episodes of Squid Game Season 2. The announcement, published January 2, 2025, lists rewards for Episodes 1–7, but does not establish whether players can still claim them in October 2026.
What was the Season 2 Watch Along?
Netflix’s January 2, 2025 announcement described Watch Along as a feature for Netflix members playing Squid Game: Unleashed. Rewards were tied to completing Season 2 episodes: the more episodes watched, the more rewards players could earn. The announcement presents this as an in-game reward track, not a physical-purchase promotion. Netflix’s announcement is the source for the schedule below.
Season 2 episode rewards Netflix listed
| Completed episode | Announced reward |
|---|---|
| Initial reward | 15,000 Cash |
| Episode 1 | 20 Wild Tokens |
| Episode 2 | 20,000 Cash |
| Episode 3 | 25 Wild Tokens |
| Episode 4 | 25,000 Cash |
| Episode 5 | 50 Wild Tokens |
| Episode 6 | 50,000 Cash |
| Episode 7 | Binni Binge-Watcher Outfit |
Netflix defines Cash as in-game currency and a Wild Token as a chance to spin the in-game wheel for prizes. The initial 15,000 Cash is listed separately from the rewards for Episodes 1 through 7.
Can players still claim these rewards?
That is not confirmed by the available Netflix announcement. It is dated January 2, 2025, and does not state an end date for Watch Along or confirm that the Season 2 rewards remain redeemable in October 2026. Treat the reward list as what Netflix announced around the Season 2 launch period, rather than as a guarantee of a live offer.

How the Season 3 promotion differs
A separate Netflix explainer published in July 2025 describes rewards for watching Season 3 episodes. That is a later promotion and should not be mistaken for the Season 2 episode track above. Netflix’s explainer also describes Squid Game: Unleashed as a free online party-royale game for up to 32 players, available to subscribers and non-subscribers; that later description does not change the Season 2 announcement’s stated Netflix-member eligibility. Netflix Tudum’s game guide covers the later context.
