What is SOUL COVENANT?
Thirdverse describes SOUL COVENANT as a “VR Narrative Action JRPG.” Its story is set in a near-future, desolate Japan where humanity is fighting machines. The official overview highlights encroaching enemies, large foes, changing weapons, and special abilities.
According to the developer, players physically handle weapons called “Scapegoat,” made from the remains of comrades. The described combat includes swords and hammers that transform when held with both hands, along with shield defense, dashing, and finishing blows. These are the studio’s descriptions, not independent performance or gameplay testing. Official game site
