Solo Leveling Season 3 has no confirmed renewal or release date in the announcements available as of October 8, 2026. The next anime continuation that has been officially announced is Solo Leveling: Beyond the System, a theatrical film in production that follows Season 2. The film is not confirmation that a third season has been canceled or replaced.
Is Solo Leveling Season 3 confirmed?
No formal Season 3 renewal is established in the available reports. In June 2026, Crunchyroll president Rahul Purini said, “Nothing to announce, but we are just as eager as the fans for the next show!” He added that “the creators are actively working on it” and that he hoped an announcement would come soon. His remarks point to work on a next show, but do not name or confirm a third season. GamesRadar+ reported Purini’s comments on June 1, 2026.
When does Solo Leveling Season 3 come out?
No Season 3 release date has been announced in the cited reports. Online dates and years should be treated as speculation unless a later official announcement confirms them. The available coverage also gives no release date for the announced film.
What is Beyond the System, and is it Season 3?
Solo Leveling: Beyond the System is a theatrical anime film announced as in production on July 3, 2026. TheWrap described it as a direct continuation that picks up after Arise from the Shadow (Season 2). The announcement establishes the film as the confirmed next continuation, but does not call it Season 3 or say that it replaces or cancels a third season. TheWrap’s announcement report names Crunchyroll, Aniplex, Netmarble, D&C Media, and Kakao Piccoma as co-producers, with A-1 Pictures as the animation studio; those credits do not establish a release schedule.

What plot points are confirmed after Season 2?
The confirmed information is limited. Aniplex’s official series introduction describes a world where Gates connect dimensions, monsters emerge beyond them, and Hunters fight those threats. Sung Jinwoo begins as a low-ranked Hunter and gains the ability to level up. The film is set after Season 2, but the announcement does not disclose its specific story or plot beats. Predicted adaptations of later manhwa arcs and fan theories should not be mistaken for confirmed anime material.
Aniplex’s official Solo Leveling page lists the film production announcement dated July 4, 2026, as well as Blu-ray and DVD products for the series.
