What happened to Solo Leveling: Ragnarok?
Tapas’s Team Tapas notice, dated January 31, 2026, says Season 2 had ended and the comic would take a hiatus before returning with Season 3: “Thank you for your continued support of <Solo Leveling: Ragnarok!> Season 2 has come to a close and so we will be taking a hiatus before returning with season 3! Tappytoon’s official comic listing also currently labels the series “Hiatus.” Check the Tappytoon listing.
Was the hiatus really right after the comeback?
“Right after” describes the hiatus following the returned season, not an immediate shutdown. Bessatsu’s August 22, 2026 report dates Season 2’s return to August 6, 2025, and its end at chapter 68 to January 8, 2026. That is a several-month run. The detailed dates come from secondary reporting; Tapas’s hiatus notice itself confirms the season ended but does not give those dates. Bessatsu’s timeline report.

When will Season 3 return?
No confirmed Season 3 return date is established by the official Tapas and Tappytoon listings cited here. Tapas says the series will return with Season 3, while Tappytoon still marks it as on hiatus. Neither gives a date, so a specific 2026 or 2027 return should not be treated as scheduled.
Why is the manhwa on hiatus?
Bessatsu attributes the hiatus to artist JIN’s mandatory military service. That explanation is secondary reporting, not part of the brief official Tapas notice, which only says the series is taking a hiatus before Season 3.

The official English digital comic listings are on Tapas and Tappytoon. For print, Yen Press lists Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, Vol. 2 (comic) as a 296-page paperback, ISBN 9798400904790, with an October 20, 2026 release date. That date is upcoming in the cited catalog, so check the Yen Press listing or its listed retailers for current availability. A print volume is a separate edition, not a release date for the next webtoon episode.
