PEOPLE reported that Trump called the files a “hoax” in a Truth Social statement on November 14, 2025. The outlet also quoted White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson saying, “These emails prove literally nothing.” Those statements express the speakers’ positions; neither quotation by itself resolves what the emails do or do not establish.
