For the 2024 festive season, Sky’s guide highlighted Christmas favourites including Elf, The Holiday and Love Actually on Sky Cinema and NOW. It also listed the Sky Original animation The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland for 13 December 2024. These are historical listings, not a guide to what is available today.
Christmas films on Sky Cinema and NOW in 2024
Sky’s November 2024 festive guide named the following films as available on Sky Cinema and NOW during that season. It presented them as highlights “plus plenty more,” so this is a selection rather than a complete catalogue.

The guide did not give individual broadcast dates or times for these titles. Sky’s 2024 festive guide identified Sky Cinema and NOW as the viewing routes.
Sky Original Christmas films and specials
The Night Before Christmas in Wonderland
Sky listed this animated Sky Original as coming to Sky Cinema and NOW on 13 December 2024. Based on Carys Bexington’s book, it features the voices of Emilia Clarke, Gerard Butler and Simone Ashley. In the story, a delayed letter from the Princess of Hearts sends St Nick to Wonderland. Sky’s guide and its 2024 festive brochure place the title in that season’s line-up.

Bad Tidings
Sky described Bad Tidings as its 2024 Christmas special. Lee Mack plays Neil and Chris McCausland plays Scott, feuding neighbours who join forces against a local crime family after the street loses power on Christmas Eve. Sky lists the UK BBFC rating as PG, with mild suggestive references, comedic violence, scenes some children under five may find scary, mild peril and threat, and mild language. The rating is a useful guide for families, but does not mean the film is suitable for every child. Sky’s film page also currently describes it as available on Sky Max and NOW; catalogue availability can change.
Sky’s seasonal channel dates in 2024
Sky Media’s 2024 sponsorship presentation gave these seasonal windows. It was a commercial presentation, not a day-by-day programme guide, and noted that scheduling was subject to change.
