A Sister Wives preview shows Kody, Robyn, Janelle and Meri Brown arriving at Coyote Pass in Flagstaff, Arizona, then hesitating to get out of their cars. Janelle calls the pause “a standoff” as the former family gathers for what the preview frames as a final meeting before the property’s sale.
What happens in the Coyote Pass preview?
In the scene described in People’s exclusive preview, published by Yahoo on November 13, 2025, the four Browns arrive at the Flagstaff property but remain in their vehicles rather than immediately meeting face to face. Kody observes, “Nobody’s getting out of their cars.”
Janelle characterizes the pause as a standoff: “It’s a standoff I guess. It’s a standoff at the Coyote Pass final showdown or something. I don’t know.” The preview presents the moment as tense, but her wording is a reaction to the awkward wait—not confirmation of a physical confrontation.
Why are they meeting at Coyote Pass?
The property was purchased in 2018 with the original idea of creating a family compound, according to the People report. By the time of the preview, the family’s relationships and plans for the land had changed. Kody describes the strain: “We wouldn’t naturally want to meet with Meri and Janelle on Coyote Pass after all we’ve been through. Meri and I’ve been talking through lawyers for two or three months.”

The preview was filmed before the property’s eventual sale. People reported that it sold for $1.5 million in April, but the cited passage does not specify the year for that April. It also recounts that Christine sold her share back to Kody in August 2022, and that Janelle and Meri announced separations within 14 months of Christine leaving.
Where are the Browns now?
The report says Janelle relocated to a 156-acre farm in North Carolina with her daughter Maddie and son-in-law Caleb Brush. The Coyote Pass scene, by contrast, brings Kody, Robyn, Janelle and Meri together at the Flagstaff land that had been intended as the family’s shared home base.
