Season 4 at a glance
Season 4 premiered on Netflix on January 14, 2025. The dating competition strands singles on an island and lets couples who match leave for a romantic night in Paradise. Netflix named Hong Jin-kyung, Lee Da-hee, Kyuhyun, Hanhae, and Dex as the emcee team. Netflix’s season announcement gives the premiere date, format, and host lineup.
The season runs for 12 episodes, according to TIME. For context, Netflix’s earlier performance figures refer to other seasons: Season 2 accumulated 65.08 million viewing hours, while Season 3 entered the Global Top 10 in 31 countries. Those figures are not Season 4 viewing metrics. Netflix’s January 2024 announcement also quoted producer Kim Jae-won saying the team would respond to fan feedback on Season 3; in the January 2025 announcement, producers Kim Jae-won, Kim Jung-hyun, and Park Suji said Season 4 would show “conflicts you can only find in real-life relationships.” Netflix’s renewal announcement covers the earlier-season figures and producer comment.
