Dex’s return gives the panel a perspective shaped by having previously experienced the show as a contestant. Netflix used a staggered release:
- December 12, 2023: Episodes 1–3
- December 19, 2023: the next weekly release
- December 26, 2023: the next weekly release
- January 2, 2024: the next weekly release
- January 9, 2024: the season’s final episodes

Single’s Inferno is a Korean dating-competition reality format. Singles begin on Inferno and must form a match to leave for Paradise, where the selected couple spends an overnight date at a luxury hotel. Paradise is the show’s setting for more private conversation and relationship exploration.

Season 3 changes more than the cast. Netflix said the rules and the island setup would be substantially redesigned, with a more intimate Paradise where couples could explore their feelings. Yoo Ki Hwan, Netflix’s unscripted lead for Korea, summarized the shift this way: “What used to be ‘Paradise’ and ‘Inferno’ will change completely.”
