JCK described the diamonds as hand-set, while IDEX Online reported their grades as F / VS. Those details are publication-reported specifications, not a separate independent verification.
Why did Simone Biles wear a goat pendant?
Biles explained that the pendant was “a little ode” to the nickname people use for her. In her post-win BBC interview, quoted by Women’s Health, she said she thought it would be special to have one made. She also joked that the criticism made her love it even more, describing it as a special part of herself.

Who made it, and how long did it take?
California jeweler Janet Heller made the custom necklace for Biles. Heller told JCK it took a few weeks to make and described it as a keepsake Biles could pass down to future generations. The pendant’s bespoke design and personal meaning are central to the story: it was commissioned for Biles rather than presented as a standard retail design.
Can you buy Simone Biles’s exact necklace?
No replica is offered by the jeweler. Heller told Good Morning America, “The goat can’t be replicated. Simone is one of a kind.” There is no reliable purchase price or appraisal established for Biles’s custom piece.

A generic goat pendant may share the animal motif, but it would not be Biles’s necklace, an identical replica, or an authorized copy. Separately, JCK reported in August 2024 that Heller’s Olympic Rings necklace was available on the jeweler’s website. That was a different design, and the report does not establish its current stock or availability.
