When did Shrinking season 3 come out?
Apple announced an 11-episode season with a one-hour premiere on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, followed by weekly Wednesday episodes through April 8. Apple’s current episode listing identifies April 8’s episode as the season finale. The season’s announced run is complete.

Returning main cast
Jason Segel and Harrison Ford lead the ensemble. Returning stars also include Christa Miller, Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell, and Ted McGinley.

Guest stars and new additions
Brett Goldstein, Damon Wayans Jr., Wendie Malick, and Cobie Smulders return as guest stars. Jeff Daniels and Michael J. Fox join the season. Apple’s season announcement and December 2025 trailer announcement name the cast; TIME’s December 2025 preview also reported Daniels and Fox joining.
What is season 3 about?
The series follows Jimmy, a grieving therapist played by Segel, who begins breaking professional rules and telling clients exactly what he thinks. Apple’s description says those choices bring major changes to the clients’ lives and his own. That premise frames the season without requiring a recap of earlier episodes.

What happens in the season 3 finale?
The finale is titled “And That’s Our Time.” Apple’s official description says: “As Alice heads to college, Jimmy tries to repair things before it’s too late. Gaby makes a happy discovery.” This is the available spoiler-light setup; it does not specify how those storylines resolve.
