Sharon Stone revisited one of her best-known screen moments in a lingerie photo she shared on Instagram on July 12, 2024. The image echoed the interrogation-room pose from Basic Instinct, the 1992 thriller in which she played Catherine Tramell.
What Stone shared
In its July 14, 2024 report, Us Weekly described Stone, then 66, wearing a matching hot-pink underwear set and sitting in a gold chair with white shag cushions. The publication credited stylist Paris Libby as the photographer.
Us Weekly reproduced Stone’s caption as: “Basically…yours 🥰.” The report does not identify a lingerie brand or model, or provide a separate statement from Stone explaining the post.
The film scene behind the reference
The photo called back to Basic Instinct (1992), where Stone portrayed Catherine Tramell. Us Weekly described the referenced moment as an interrogation-room scene involving Tramell and San Francisco police. The 2024 image was a new photo echoing that pose, not footage or a still from the film.
