What Sharon Osbourne said about her facelift
In a September 2023 interview with Fox News Digital, Osbourne discussed the facelift and a later correction by another surgeon. She said she had gone to a surgeon she had used before, and described one eye as higher than the other, with scarring near her nostril and lip. In a Times interview reported on December 15, 2023, Osbourne gave a more vivid description of the outcome: “I looked like Cyclops. What she said about choice and uncertainty
In the September 2023 Fox News Digital interview, Osbourne said, “It’s your personal choice. There should be no stigma to it.” She also remarked, “nothing is guaranteed, is it.” Those comments express her perspective; they should not be treated as clinical guidance or as a prediction of another person’s result.
How the facelift fits her earlier comments on self-worth
The Independent noted that Osbourne had written about cosmetic surgery and self-worth in her 2013 memoir, Unbreakable. The report quotes her writing that surgery can mean “you are slicing off yet more of your self-worth”. The memoir is context for her later reflections, rather than evidence about the medical details of the 2021 procedure.
