Why the cast changes for Season 2
Season 2 adapts Rick Riordan’s second novel, The Sea of Monsters. Disney’s season announcement and season description say Percy returns to Camp Half-Blood a year later, where the camp is threatened and Grover is missing. Percy and his allies set out to find the Golden Fleece, which is central to saving the camp.
